Lipstick review

Hello everybody! I am on holiday from college for a week so I am just resting and getting work done.
My best friend Kiera came over for a chicken curry (that I made) on Wednesday for a thank you she bought me this lovely Kate Moss lipstick!

The colour is very summery (perfect for summer obviously ) The colour lightens up my face, I love the plain black shiny plastic holder, both the black & pink colours suit each other very well!
I love the lid, it says Kate that is directed to Kate Moss since it is Kate moss's collection! I love the overall size of my  product, nothing too big that you can't fit in your handbag or too small that there's hardly nothing in it!
Here's a picture of me holding the lipstick if you can see it ;)! P.S I had been sweating over the stove all day so it's not the most attractive photo!

Brit awards!

Hello everybody! How are we all?
All my British readers will know that the Brit Awards happened last night, and as a fashionista I concentrated on the beautiful gowns that the ladies were wearing. So let's start with my favourites..

My most favourite would have to be Beyonce's gown, oh my god! She looked like a beautiful mermaid, her figure is just on another planet!!! She looked so confident & she defiantly owned the stage!

The turquoise dress with black sleeve netting fitted Queen B to a T!!! The length of the dress I thought was practical, not too long so she's picking it up while singing. So perfect!

My next favourite is Foxes gown, she looked very pretty, the colour I think is absolutely stunning, a bold, deep pink perfect to wear if you're wanting to stand out from the crowd, The fishtail style of dress is so stunning, I don't think we see that many fishtail dresses at this type of event.

Her figure is perfect, a very figure hugging style of dress that makes her look so attractive and confident.

I really like Peaches Geldof outfit, it is something really different compared to the traditional sparkely dress that we normally see, her hair & make up looked very very nice, nothing too over the top, very natural looking.

The strapless shirt is something we are seeing more of this year so she was on trend. I really liked the slim style of heel, nothing too in your face.

Here's more images from last night, thanks for reading! X

London & Paris

Hello everybody! How are we all? I have been super busy with college & two week I was in London & Paris which was so amazing but I am back on now! The trip was so amazing firstly I got to college for 6:45am *yaaawns* then we made our way to London Camden market which was an adventure I've never been so I didn't really know what to expect,
I've taken some pictures which I will upload now for you cuties to see.

I bought a very summery long strapped bag from this cute little boutique with 60s styled clothes I was so overwhelmed with the amount there but I saw this cute bag and I had to buy it, the bag cost £32 which isn't cheap but you don't go to Camden market everyday so I had to grab it! I had a quick selfie on the coach too!

It isn't a trip when you don't purchase a Costa hot chocolate is it!

That's London over and done with! Now for Paris!!! We had a full day travelling on Tuesday, so we didn't get up to much but the next day we went to this Fashion Muesum full of Chanel's work!
The garments are so beautiful!! I loved them, the colours are so perfect and very luxurious. We went to the streets of Paris, we went into Louis Vuitton and slowly walked out hiding the shame of not been able to buy anything.

I saw a poster of Bradley Cooper so I had to take a snap *fan girls *
I had this delicious hot chocolate with cream from starbucks not the hottest of drinks but it was still yum!

You can not come to Paris & not visit the Effiel Tower, so the last day we went on the Metro which is very stressful!! But we got there, we had photos & selfies.. ;)

BAFTA AWARDS!

Hi everybody! How are we all?
I am sure you all know that last week was the BAFTA awards & as a fashion student I go straight to the dresses! Their have been some beautiful gowns that I have fallen in love with and then there have been some that I personally wouldn't choose, so lets start!!!

Brad & Angelina looked both amazing in their suits yes BOTH, Angelina wore this masculine but still feminine suit, wearing a half un buttoned shirt that shows her sexiness. I love how shes done something completely different, she isnt upstaging her guy, I applause this outfit very much.

The next stunning outfit that I love & all the magazines are talking about is Lupita Nyongo's, the lady that starred in 12 years a slave, this gown is so beautiful, effortless.
Wearing a gown that is such a bright, bold colour is an amazing trick to get all the cameras on you, you stick out like a saw thumb but in a very very good way. She wore the correct amount of jewellery, nothing too over the top. Her complexion goes amazing with her dress, the colours combine together amazingly.

The next amazing gown that I have seen is Fearne Cotton, OH MA GOD! Her hair is amazing, bob type so I don't think it messes with the dress, there is just enough sparkles so it isn't over the top. The length of the dress is just right. The colour of the dress is very luxurious with a tint of silver.

This gown I think is stunning, very simple, worn by Uma Thurman, very figur hugging, showing all her beautiful curves, you definatly need to have confidence to wear this dress. I think the accessorises she is wearing are perfect for the occasion, nothing is in your face, tacky or in your face. PERFECT!

The hair is something I especially love, it isn't in her face, still having the messy effect with the few strands of hair so nothing looks old fashioned.

Ok so now its time for the not so fashion appropriate style..

I wasnt too fussed about Gwendoline Christie's dress, personally I think she is showing too much leg & I think dont it is appropriate for the type of occasion she is going too! Maybe if Gwendoline had a tan to her skin i maybe could see the reason she chose this dress but without I dont think it does anything for her figure, but ending on a positive note her hair is perfect, having a 50's styled quiff.

Another dress I am not too fussed with is Maggie Gyllenhaal, there is too much going off with this garment, especially the top half, too many beads with the sleeve netting material it is all too much for me to like. The bottom half covers up her beautiful figure, there is too  much material.

This is the final dress that I am not so keen on, the pattern is too old fashioned, it is something that you'd wear when you had no fashion style or you just found out about fashion. Please dont get me started on the shoes, they do nothing for the dress, just big black straps that aren't needed.

The hair style does nothing for this dress, the hair drags her down, the hair has no personality, its like they ran out of time & this is what they came up with, her figure is amazing so Laura can do much better.

Thanks for reading, I hope i can one day be at the BFTA awards or at least style an actress. Here's a few more pictures from the awards. X

Lazy Hazy Days progression

I have been asked to blog about my college work and the progression I am making on the assisigment Lazy Hazy Days. Firstly my whole assisigment was based around Japanese patterns, so from that I created my own packaging designs.

For my design boards again I was inspired by Japenase patterns, I had to design 8 outfits based around my inspiration.

You should comment on which design is your favourite or you could share any advice you have so I can improve on my drawing skills!
